2020 Reading Challenges

The upcoming year is the start to a new decade and the start to tons of new life experiences and opportunities. Going into 2020, I’m obviously going to keep up with my reading and am planning on making my reading a little bit more fun.

Over the past month, I’ve seen SO MANY announcements for 2020 year-long readathons and reading challenges. It’s overwhelming to decide from several amazing options, but I’ve managed to decide on some. I usually do a post like this every year, but I normally terrible with sticking to them, so hopefully this year will be better. I’ll be regularly updating this post.

20 LGBTQ+ Books in 2020 (#20LGBTQBOOKSIN2020)

– January 1st-December 31st

One of my reading goals is to read more books with LGBT+ characters (although I did read mostly LGBT books in 2019) and I found a BINGO board that’ll help me do it. This was created by Enthralled Bookworm. The goal is to read at least 20 books with LGBT+ rep, but there are 25 squares so of course I’m going for the full bingo. 2020 looks like a promising year for LGBT+ books.

Finishing the Series Reading Challenge

– January 1st-December 31st –

I have so many started series that I can’t count and I’d like to finish them but I know it is an impossible task at least for now since a lot of them are still ongoing but I’d like to at least read till the last book published. Here’s the challenge post if you want to join. I’m going for C-LIST SERIES FINISHER ⇒ COMPLETE 1-4 SERIES. I still don’t know which series I want to finish, so I’m going to list all the series that I want to complete eventually and see which ones I get around to this year. The crossed out were read before 2020, and the ones read this year will be underlined.
