In the terrifying final installment of the Bad Girls Don’t Die series, Alexis battles a more powerful ghost than she’s ever faced before… and one whose fate is tied to hers in ways she couldn’t possibly imagine.

As Dead As It Gets by Katie Alender tells the story of a teenager named Alexis who is struggling with ghosts. She can see them in pictures and they keep getting drawn to her and messing up her life. I thought the idea of this series is good, but it seems like each book has the same format, with a new ghost. They seem to follow the same drama and repeats the same points. That being said, the end revenge was exactly how it should be, long and surprising.

However, the resolution was one page and was not very satisfying. A bit of an underwhelming conclusion to the Bad Girls Don’t Die trilogy. Alender’s voice is as strong as ever in this one. Maybe it’s just me, but very rarely do ghost stories get better with sequels.

Despite all of this, I think it’s a great book, because it is fast-paced, very interesting, and it has a lot of plot twists. In conclusion, I enjoyed this book and I think a lot of others will like it too.

Have you read this series? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Do you agree or disagree with anything I mentioned above? Let me know in the Comments!
