What I’m Watching:

Okay, so I mentioned this last week but recently, I’ve been watching Rise, a New Musical Drama TV Show on NBC that’s based on a book – Drama High. I love this show, and I’m kinda obsessed with it. The first season only consists of 10 episodes, and is 9 episodes in, the 10th episode airs on Tuesday. Next week will be the last episode, but I was hoping it would get a second season, it’s recently been cancelled though.

Stanton High School’s drama department is made up of a diverse group of people with various backgrounds. I would really recommend watching it if you haven’t already, It’s not perfect, and it does have it’s flaws, but It’s a great series. This is an important show, and means a lot to so many people, including myself. So, if you’ve never seen this show, I would really suggest checking it out. And if you like Spring Awakening, you’ll probably enjoy Rise. We’re trying to show NBC how much this show means to us, or a least try to get it picked up by a different Network, by using #RiseAgain #SaveRise on twitter. I just don’t want this show to end after only 10 episodes, this show doesn’t deserve that, and neither do the incredibly talented actors.

Even if you don’t watch rise, if you could watch it tomorrow because it’s the season finale and all the risers are doing the best they can to save the show and it would mean a lot.

Hi! I’m new so I’m just looking at all the blogs and seeing what is interesting and different. I read many genres so EVERYTHING looks good to me. AT my current reading rate, I’m up to 10-15 years worth of reading on m TBR. But I also figure I’ll be able to read more once I’m retired. Especially once I’m not able to run around so much, right? If I keep adding new books I may need to retire sooner tho. LOL. Anne – Books of My Heart
