Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon TBR

October TBR (6)

I’ll be participating in Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon on Saturday 28th April. For me, the Readathon starts at 9:30 PM on Saturday. I have also finally managed to clear my Calendar for this round, this weekend I won’t be doing anything but reading, and I’ll have no distractions (hopefully).

I haven’t been reading that much lately, I wouldn’t say that it’s a reading slump, I’ve just been very busy and I think I needed a bit of a break from reading. I put way too much pressure on myself to read a certain amount of books, or read all the Review Copies I’ve received. So, It was a much needed break, but I’m excited to finally sit down and read with hardly no other Obligations. I’m trying to put less stress on myself about reading. Who else does this? Do you also put a lot of pressure on yourself to read?

Anyway, Here is my Reading Pile, although it’s likely to Change based on my mood, but these are some of the shorter books I have or the books that I’m most interested to read at the moment. I’m just going to choose books from these piles based on my mood, and what I feel like reading. I’m sorry for the quality of these pictures, I took them at night time and my room is very dark with not much lighting.

I also have some eBooks that I would like to get around to but we’ll see how much I actually end up reading and what I end up reading:

    • Sleep is definitely important! I don’t usually stay up and read for the full 24 hours, I just try to get as much reading done as possible while still getting a full nights sleep. I stayed up for the full 24 hour one round, and I definitely do not recommend it. I decided never to do that again. You should participate one round, and just read in your waking hours, like I do! 😄 It’s a lot of fun, and I probably spend more time on social media, checking out everyone else’s posts than actually reading anyway! 😂

      Thank You!
