This is another Challenge hosted by Books & Munches, at this point I’ve been doing these every month, they’re Fantastic (no pun intended). These challenges are so much fun! So, this months challenge is Fantastic February, which is dedicated to fantasy and paranormal books. So these are some of my Fantasy books. Some of these are books I own and some are ARC’s that I was supposed to review ages ago, so I’ll try to get to some of those this month as well.

Unicorn Readathon (#UnicornReads)

TBR BustAThon (@TBRBustathon)

(Sunday, February 4th – Saturday, February 10th)

The TBR Bust-A-Thon is a seven day read-a-thon that occurs every two months during the first full week. The goal is to read books on your TBR, so books you have already read do not count. Books you already started but have not finished yet only count if you are less than halfway through. There will be seven reading challenges and reading sprints hosted on the TBR Bust-A-Thon twitter account. The challenges can be doubled up but not tripled meaning you may use one book for two challenges.

The challenges:
Read a book that has been on your TBR pile more than 2 years – Anything is Possible by Cosentino
Read a banned book – The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Read a 400+ page book – The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Read a YA Contemporary – Isla & the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
Read a book with pink and red on the cover – Blame it on Paris by Laura Florand
Read a popular book you haven’t read yet – Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Read a book released between Nov. 2017 and Jan. 2018 – The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Series Crackdown (#SCReadathon)

(Friday, February 9th – Sunday, February 18th)

Series Crackdown is a 10-day read-a-thon, where you try to Crackdown on those series’ sitting on your shelves that you have either forgotten about or just haven’t gotten around to yet. The idea is to try to read an entire series in the 10 days. Whether it’s a duology, trilogy or full blown 6 book series!

InLoveAThon (#InLoveAThon)

(Friday, February 9th – Thursday, February 15th)

For those of you who don’t know the InLoveAthon is a Valentine’s Day themed read-a-thon created by Cristina over at  cristinasjourney. This will take place from February 9th to February 15th.  There are 10 challenges to choose from, though you only have to do 7.

These are the Challenges:
1. Read a book from your favourite romance author. It can be contemporary or historical. – Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
2. Read a book that has  your favourite romantic trope.
3. Read a book with a prince/princess. – The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
4. Read an original fairytale and watch the Disney movie or a film adaptation. – Peter Pan by  J.M. Barrie
6. Read a book that takes place in a location where you would love to spend Valentine’s Day. Parris! The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George
7. Read a book with pink or red in the cover. – Summer & the City by Candace Bushnell
8. Read a LGBTQ+ love story. – Leo Loves Aries by Anyta Sunday
9. Read a classic love story. (E.g. Romeo&Juliet) – Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
10. Read one of the hosts favourite Contemporary/Historical Romance books.

Alphabethon (#Alphabethon)

(Monday, February 12th – Sunday, February 18th)

The challenges:

1) Read a book over 400 pages 
2) Read a book under 200 pages
3) Since Alphabethon will take place the week of Valentine’s Day read a romance novel
4) Read a book with two E’s ( either author’s first and last name begin with E, title and author’s last or first name…you get it.) 
5) Read a book with a MC whose name begins with E. –
6) Read a book with an E setting. (world, city, state, country, etc.) –
7) Read 7 books.

I’m not going to be using the Challenges though, so here’s my TBR:

Contemporaryathon (#ContemporaryAThon)

(Monday, February 12th – Sunday, February 18th)

2. Most recently acquired contemporary. – Someone to Love by Melissa De La Cruz
3. Read a hyped book. – November 9 by Colleen Hoover
4. Read a diverse book. – Our Own Private Universe by Robin Talley
5. Read a dark/taboo contemporary.
6. Read a contemporary graphic novel.
7. Read a book recommended to you.

  1. So glad you’re liking my monthly challenges, haha! 😀 Once again, a giant TBR you’re committing to but you seriously read a lot as well, I’ve noticed.
    I wanted to join in pretty much half these readathons as well but life’s going to get way busy this month and I felt like it would only frustrate me not being able to focus on them properly.. :/
    Oh well, next month!
