I had a really great book buying month. I bought some books myself, I got some for Christmas. I acquired a total of 27 books in December.
Physical Books I Bought:
What I received for Christmas:
My Golden Ticket – My Mum bought me this for Christmas and it’s so Adorable. This is a new personalised book that takes any child to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. The book is completely personalised with your child’s name. You can dedicate the book to whoever you are buying it for. The book is impeccably designed with beautiful illustrations.
Any child — or even adult — who has always been mesmerized and slightly jealous of Charlie’s experience through the Chocolate Factory, can now experience it for themselves. Not only is your tour guide an Oompa Loompa who leads you to all the different candy rooms and destinations. No child’s adventure is the same when compared to a friend’s or sibling’s version.
The Silver Mask by Holly Black & Cassandra Clare
A History of Magic by J.K. Rowling
A Journey Through a History of Magic by J.K. Rowling
Fantastic Beasts and where to find them Illustrated Edition
All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
City of Bones 10th Anniversary Edition by Cassandra Clare
eARCS I Received:
I received these books from Netgalley. Thank you to all the publishers/Authors who share books with me. I’m so grateful to all the publishers and authors who are generous enough to send me their books.
My Christmas Day:
The much anticipated Christmas and boxing day are now over. I’ve read a lot of blogs about how you spent your Christmas and boxing day. Thank you so much for reading my Blog and supporting me, it honestly means the world to me!
This was the first Christmas in years that we actually had outside. And because we live in Australia, where it doesn’t snow, we set up our own Winter Wonderland. I had Christmas Lunch with some of my Family. Christmas’ at our house is always very small, but it was the most enjoyable Christmas in years!
Also, this is our new Seating Area out the Back, or as I like to call it my new Reading Area!
That’s it for this post! I’ll be doing my January TBR separately. What books did you finish this December? What books did you Acquire in December? What did you get for Christmas? I would love to know. If you have your own Book Haul or Wrap-Up post(s), leave them down below as well.
