The Sunday Post #34 | Absent Blogging – 29/10/2017

The Sunday PostWeekly Update

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news – A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

What Happened off the Blog:

I’d like to take this blog post time to say sorry, I’ve been majorly lacking in my reviewing and posting. I’ve been super busy with life in general and it’s been hard to find the time to sit down and write up posts. I haven’t posted anything in five days!

Last Week, Monday-Wednesday, I had to attend Resilience Training, which took a lot out off me and I was extremely tired, and starting this week, Hospitality Training, for 3 Weeks, Monday-Wednesday. It’s been making me feel too tired to Blog. I think I’ve managed to free some time up now though.

I’ve got tons of posts to work on and comments that I have yet to acknowledge so if you’re worried, don’t be. I’ll be hopefully getting around to all of that this week sometime. Not to mention get some reviews up for the books I have been finishing!

Books Read:

Currently Reading:

I’m still Currently reading IT, but I’ve almost finished it, I’m finally getting through it. I’m up to 1120/1477 pages.  This is my main focus to finish by the end of October, as I started it in April.

What I Plan to Read Next:

New on my Shelf:

Song of the Week:

What I’m Watching:

I finished watching Stranger Things Season 2 yesterday, I loved the first season of the Netflix original series. It is an Amazing series, I’ve been quite obsessed with Stranger Things for awhile now, and I was so excited for season two’s release. I love its creepy vibe, the multiple story lines, the characters that you can’t help but support even when they might make mistakes. If you haven’t watched it yet, you should definitely check it out.

  1. Thanks so much for featuring my post in your recap. I’m really glad you enjoyed it enough to feature it. 🙂
I also hope you enjoy The Raven King, it’s part of one of my favourite series and actually I think my favourite book in The Raven Cycle series as well. I haven’t heard much about Sleeping Beauties, haven’t read much from Stephen King at all, but a few of my friends are really excited to get around to it so I hope that’s one you enjoy too.
Again thanks for featuring my discussion, and great post as well. 😀 ❤

  2. Thank you for mentioning my post! 😀 I read Halloween Carnival vol. 1 a few weeks ago and liked it. I just finished A Head Full of Ghosts and I’m thinking about squeezing in another Goosebumps book and maybe one more short story before the end of the month. Good luck finishing IT before the end of the month 🙂
