The Hour 12 Challenge: Hit the Road. This challenge is about audiobooks and road trips. There are two different challenges. We are able to pick one or the other. I’m choosing both! The challenges:
1. Which three audiobooks would you recommend for a road trip and why?
OR
2. If you could make a road trip to any three bookish locations, what would they be?
1. Although I haven’t listened to many audiobooks, Any audiobook with a full cast is sure to keep me engaged, and The Forbidden Library by Django Wexler is one of my Favourites, followed by the Sequel, The Mad Apprentice, Narrated by Cassandra Morris. I had a lot of fun Listening to this. It was Whimsical and Funny and had an interesting Mystery and Premise. The Forbidden library is a great middle grade adventure.
I’d Also recommend The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. Although I’ve never Listened to the Audiobooks for this Series, I do want to. As It’s my favourite series I couldn’t resist mentioning this. They’re very engaging books with very Complex Characters and Storyline.
And the Halo series by Alexandra Adornetto, Narrated by Alexandra Adornetto. I didn’t listen to all of these, but I did listen to the Last book, Heaven, and I love that it was narrated by the Author. I actually enjoyed listening to the Audiobooks more than reading them.
2. For starters Hogwarts, I’m pretty sure that’s most peoples dream. I mean, who wouldn’t right? I’d totally have been a Ravenclaw.
Also, Riverdale from the Archie Comics. I’ve Recently watched the Riverdale TV Series, which is based on the Archie Comics. So I would love to take a road trip to Riverdale.
And Third Location would be Narnia. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I’d want to play tourist at Narnia too. I’ve always wanted to go to Narnia.
All excellent choices for a road trip! I am 100% with you on Hogwarts…sounds like we’d be in the same house!
Good luck on the continuing Read-a-Thon!
